What After Care is necessary?

It’s critical to maintain good oral hygiene at home on a daily basis and see the hygienist on a regular basis for thorough debridement due to the adhesive nature of the bonding operation.

We recommend that all patients look after their teeth as they would normally do in terms of post-treatment care. Make sure you brush your teeth at least twice a day, and use floss or interdental brushes between your teeth on a daily basis.
It’s also important to avoid eating and drinking items that can stain your teeth, such as tea, coffee, and red wine. Patients who have undergone cosmetic bonding are more likely to get stained teeth over time. Even by reducing your intake of coffee, tea, and fizzy beverages by 50%, you may notice a significant difference in the colour of your teeth.
How Long Does Composite Bonding last?
Composite bonding, like all goods in dentistry, does not endure indefinitely. We can anticipate approximately 8 – 10 years of service from your composite bonding, however this is highly determined by how well you take care of the composites.
